Sue Bradley, Eating Psychology Coach

M.A., PG Dip, PGCE, RYT500

I am one of the first handful of accredited practitioners in the UK to be trained in this innovative and timely new discipline, which incorporates the fields of Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind Body Nutrition. I provide effective and compassionate coaching when it comes to food, weight and eating concerns. Nutrition, and especially macronutrient balance, is incorporated into my way of working – so we will talk about what you eat as well – but with a different emphasis to that practised by most nutritionists. I use tools and techniques that will enable you to make a real and meaningful difference to excess weight and compulsive and mindless eating.

Education

I founded Eating Psychology UK shortly after I qualified with the Institute for the Psychology of Eating in the U.S (University of Colorado) and have more than 20 years’ experience of teaching, training and coaching, with a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Sussex, UK. I have combined my knowledge of Eating Psychology with 15 years of teaching in secondary schools and being a creative director for the British government’s flagship creative education programme, Creative Partnerships. This gives me a unique perspective, and the ability to coach a wide variety of people from all walks of life. I am also a 500RYT qualified yoga teacher, which I still practice and teach.

Mind-Body Nutrition

Helping people to change the way they eat has been a lifelong passion, and I am excited to help people realise how much power they actually have over their state of health via adjusting what they eat and through simple techniques to help them to eat less.

There are very few of us who are completely happy with their relationship with food – who can honestly say they have never overeaten, comfort ate or constrained their enjoyment of food in some way? But you are someone for whom this has become an urgent issue, and I can help.

My programme is positive and empowering, with a non-judgemental approach to eating challenges. Unlike fad dieting, I support you with coaching strategies and nutritional principles that are nourishing, achievable and that yield positive and sustainable results.
