I am proud to be an official Jamie Oliver Food Revolution Ambassador. We are integral to promoting and expanding the FOOD REVOLUTION from the ground up within the communities who need it the most. We play a voluntary leadership role in connecting individuals, schools, businesses and organisations at a local level to ensure their collective voice is heard. Ambassadors are located throughout the world, from Argentina to Italy and Kenya to Saudi Arabia. There are currently over 3,000 ambassadors globally.
Today I’m sharing this simple falafel recipe from The World Food Programme’s FamilyChef series. This dish comes from a young Syrian mother, Nurfel Karaca, currently living in a refugee camp in Turkey.
These delicious falafel only take 5 minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to cook. They were a winner at my BBQ!
About me and the Food Revolution cause
I volunteer for the Food Revolution, I give my spare time for free to further the mission for Jamie’s charities. The Food Revolution has selected a number of volunteers from around the world who showed a deep commitment to real food and I’m thrilled to be one of them.
